WHO IS THIS GUY?
I was born in Athens in 1977.
I’ve made my very first photographic steps and experiments while “borrowing” a manual camera from my father. By changing every once in a while the camera settings, I was trying every time to predict and decode every possible result. The only thing left to do was to be patient enough and wait until the film was developed and printed.
After many years, I had the privilege of being a student of Nikos Gardelis (photography director and film director of many greek movies during the 60s and 70s). He was the one that firstly introduced me to the darkroom process and its secrets, while using a Finos Film enlarger and taking photographs on b&w movie films.
Afterwards, I would be fascinated by the photo reportage which is in a way part of the wedding photographic coverage.
Today I live in Athens and I work as a photographer all over the world. I am married and I have one son. 🙂
